Employee of the Month - December
For the December “Employee of the Month” we are delighted to offer a two night weekend break for two at a Crowne Plaza or Holiday Inn Hotel at various locations throughout the UK. The winner will have a choice amongst many locations including London, Glasgow, Newport, Manchester, Birmingham, Stratford on Avon, etc.
NHS 247…Anyone who works for the NHS can be nominated and receive a chance to win a relaxing two night weekend break for two, including breakfast, meals and use of the hotel facilities including swimming pools and spas where available.
Any member of staff can nominate a colleague. All nominations are considered equally for the prize and equal consideration will be given to staff working behind the scenes such as hospital admin staff, GP receptionists, cleaners, porters, etc., as well as those who work in the front line such as GP's, nurses, doctors and surgeons. The one criteria is that they must have made an outstanding contribution that you feel goes beyond the usual call of duty.
Every month, the NHS 247 newsroom, selects the employee of the month and presents them with their prize for the outstanding contribution they have made to the NHS.

Perhaps they have displayed remarkable courage, a gutsy admin worker who has improved your hospital department or GP practice, a tireless doctor or an exemplary Matron, or dedicated nurse, a radiologist or therapist, or a member of the ambulance team or paramedics who have gone beyond the call of duty to help others - NHS workers who go that extra mile.
