Margaret Haywood- whistle blower nurse
New figures have shown that the NHS spent £350 million on external management consultants in the last financial year. The RCN obtained these figures after questioning 550 NHS organisations across the UK. Under the Freedom of Information Act, public sector organisations are required by law to respond to such enquiries within 20 working days. However, more than 40% of the organisations questioned by the RCN did not respond within the deadline.
